Louisville, Ky. - It’s happened too many times in recent months. It’s the odd ritual of teenage girls staging fights and then airing them on-line and Kentuckiana has not been immune.
First a slug fest did more than wind up on a website. It left at least one of the teen age girls with scars.
Now the latest fight caught on tape involved two girls, 12 and 13-years-old. One of the girls is the daughter of a Clarksville police officer. Both girls are charged with assault and disorderly conduct and scheduled to appear in juvenile court for an initial hearing next Wednesday morning.
A judge will decide what happens to them next.
One national study group says the incidents of teenage girl and staged fights have declined nationwide but it cautioned that figures only include cases where arrests or citations were made and many others probably go unreported.
